About 307 Roastery:

307 Roastery’s story begins long before I launched the business. My love of coffee goes back as far as I can remember. I have been drinking coffee since I was literally a child, and grew up on bad, vacuum sealed store brands. In high school, I was introduced to espresso, and everything changed! In college, I worked as a barista for a time. As a young adult, I learned the value of freshly ground coffee in my morning ritual. Still, sometimes I had to suffer with the same coffee that raised me.

Then one day, a few years ago, I purchased some unroasted (green) coffee beans. I experimented with some different roasting methods and learned how to burn coffee really well! Then I began to learn how to get the right levels of roast. For the past few years, the majority of the coffee we drank at home has been coffee that I have roasted.

For quite some time, I have talked about taking this to the next level. Finally, I had the “if I don’t do this now, it’ll never happen moment.” In April of 2021, I made the decision to go into business, a little side gig, if you will. So I began the search for an available trade name, determined the overall direction that I wanted to take this and in May of 2021, 307 Roastery, LLC was born.

As a coffee lover, I know that there are unlimited choices. Choosing the next coffee to try can be overwhelming. As a businessman, I believe that I deliver a good product, and can promise you that each small batch is roasted with my own taste buds in mind; if I’m not happy with a roast, I don’t expect you to be either.
